Effective 10 October 2026. This policy covers geostroph.com and the Geostroph games, on the web and as apps.
In short: the games do not collect anything about you, and nothing you do in them leaves your device.
Nothing. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. The games do not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
To pick up where you left off, the games keep a few things in your browser's or the app's own storage, on your device only:
These never leave your device. Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app, deletes them.
geostroph.com is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your device's internet address in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not add analytics or cookies of our own.
Message in a Bottle loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them; see Google's privacy policy.
Current Rider for Android carries all its ocean data inside the app and does not go online while you play. It asks Android for permission to vibrate (a short buzz when you are hit) and keeps the screen on during a ride. Neither involves any personal information.
The games are made for everyone, children included. Because they collect no personal information from anyone, they collect none from children.
The games run on global ocean data, which is stored with the games and loaded like the rest of the page. Loading it sends nothing about you.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
